A man dedicates himself to zen meditation to save the world. After meeting a prophet rabbit named Galileo, he sets on a journey for further enlightenment.

West Point, New York, 1830. Each love story in the film takes us to a different past, from a different present. The hope for a bright future is an illusion that keeps us expecting, as it unleashes the anguish of waiting for something extraordinary to happen. In this strange time, shaped by memory pieces and by what could have happened but didn’t, is where the characters of the film inhabit, awaiting the arrival of the future. The storyteller in “In the Future” is a ghost. My ghost.

On the top floor of a skyscraper in New York, a party is being held to announce the engagement of actress Brenda Burton to Jake MacNaughton, the son and heir of the president of El Grande, the number one underwear manufacturer in the U.S.A. While Jake is about to marry Brenda for publicity objectives for the company.

A group of very different people set sail on an old warship. The passengers include a senator with his son, a newly-wed couple, a mysterious old man, a group of sex workers and a gang of violent criminals. At first the aggressive behaviour of the thugs and their leader is directed at the first class passengers, but then more and more indiscriminately against the rest of those on board.
